Objective
Organize a symposium to bringing the leaders of Nigerian universities together with global experts to address the role of education in economic development in Nigeria and launch a new web-based database of experts in various disciplines
Our Role
• Dilday Meyer & Associates hired ConceptLink Consulting to help execute this inaugural event in less than 8 weeks
• Developed and managed all project timelines and budgets
• Reviewed contracts with venues and vendors
• Liaised with venue on all logistics including catering, A/V, and room layout
• Created and disseminated all electronic invitations and press release
• Organized pre-symposium dinner at an elegant university club
Results
• Program included 4 engaging panel sessions and keynote address by Dr. Jeffrey D. Sachs, renowned expert on Millennium Development Goals and ending extreme global poverty
• Over 120 guests attended symposium (event was oversubscribed by 40%)
• Local and online media coverage
• Guests surveyed indicated they found the symposium educational and were eager to remain engaged with NHEF
