Cultured Investor Series: Wall Street & Wine
24 Oct 2008
The Cultured Investor Series, created by ConceptLink Consulting, offers seminars with industry experts in wine, fine art, music, film and other "cultural asset" classes, providing the information necessary for potential investors to maximize their return on assets.
Cultural assets have proven resilient despite the recent economic downturn. Cultured Investor showcases unique investment opportunities in such assets.
Wall Street & Wine
The Cultured Investor Series kicked off on October 24th at the Penn Club of New York with a seminar on investing in wine, which included an interactive presentation on Investment-Grade Wines (IGWs) by David Sokolin, CEO of Sokolin LLC.
Guests enjoyed an unlimited tasting of two delicious French wines: a white Burgundy (2003 Taylor Fladgate vintage port) and a red Bordeaux (2004 Clos du Marquis) complemented by a spread of delicious cheeses. David’s expertise and passion for fine-wine investing made the presentation more conversational than lecture-like and encouraged participation from his audience.
The conversation continued throughout the evening as guests networked. As the evening came to a close, each guest received a signed copy of Sokolin’s book Investing in Liquid Assets.
